The Kigezi Healthcare Foundation (KIHEFO) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization located in the Kigezi region of southwestern Uganda. The organization is dedicated to community development in Kabale district. KIHEFO operates three clinics: a general clinic, an HIV/AIDS clinic, and a child nutrition and rehabilitation center. KIHEFO also provides maternal and child health services and community development services for rural villages.
KIHEFO believes that poverty, ignorance, and disease, must all be addressed to in order to educate and empower local people to live positive, economically productive, and sustainable, healthy lives.
